The morning was slow going for work, but I still got stuff done. But then it was lunch time! As a total, there are five interns! Betsy and I are solely working for Club Kidpreneur, Sally is doing accounting for Club Kidpreneur and a few of the other companies, Elle is doing graphic design work for mostly Co-Equity but she is utilized by most of the other businesses here, and Dave is a social media intern for Entropolis. We are a diverse bunch! We had a great lunch at the Wintergarden, which is a food court around the corner from the office. We all got something different to eat and then came together at one table and ate together and had lovely conversation! It was really fun!
I don't think that I have given you all a run down of the other interns! Also, because I just found out most of it yesterday. :)
Betsy:
She is 22 from Atlanta, Georgia, but goes to school at Auburn in Alabama. She is studying Communication with a minor in business.
Elle:
She is 18 from Australia, isn't in school right now, but she enjoys graphic design and working for her dad here!
Sally:
(Like I said above) She is 19 from Hong Kong and studying Accounting at a university in Hong Kong.
Dave:
He is 20 from Australia (a little beach town an hour outside of Sydney) and studying at a local college in Sydney. And he is super tall! Like wow! Way tall. I literally look up to speak to him.
Anyways, after lunch my day got super busy! I was getting tasks one after the other! I filled up two and a half pages of check lists / to do lists! It was great! It kept me busy the rest of the time and I have plenty to do this morning!
I did a lot with the website, I uploaded videos and embedded the videos into the make up of the website, I followed people on social media, I added blog posts to the website, I fixed videos that were wrong on the website, I researched some "how-to" stuff, I added more media hits to the media hit list, etc. The list goes on and on!

SHELBY ALLISON LIGHT, 21, OF ATLANTA GEORGIA, IS READING A BOOK FOR FUN!!
People, this girl is reading a book for pleasure reading. My boss, Shelby, had some old books that she was giving away and asked if anyone wanted them. I was a little hesitant, because I'd like to want to read, but I can never get my head around it. But she said the series is a murder mystery set in Sydney, Australia. So I was sold. I said I would give them a try and she just told me to keep them and if I didn't want them later, to just leave them in my student accommodation for the next person, because she doesn't want them. So, therefore, I am hooked on these books. I started last night and I am already on chapter 14. Granted that's not even 100 pages, but I'm really enjoying the book, so far! The book is just like watching Law & Order SVU or Criminal Minds. I love it. Since the TV stations here aren't as diverse or interesting here, I'm glad I have something that I like. And it is super cool to read about places I have been to here in Sydney and I can nod my head and say to myself "Yep, I could see that happening there" or "Oh my gosh, there?? Why did that have to happen right there?!" It's fun. Anyways....moving on..
I went to the chocolate bar again last night...it was great. I got a hot chocolate for take away (to go) and brought it back to the apartment and did the Tim Tam slam. Well a failed version of it. If you don't know what a Tim Tam is (which I don't know why you would know what that is) it is only the most delicious chocolate biscuit (cookie) in the world! Here is a picture of the packaging and biscuit. And there are HUNDREDS of flavors/types. I want to try them all! I've already tried, Original, Salted Caramel, Caramel, Dark Chocolate & Raspberry, Double Chocolate Coated and Peanut Butter. I have access to Coconut, but who wants to try that? And I still have quite a few more to try! :P
