We got to the office about 5 minutes past 8:30a.m. and NO ONE WAS THERE! All of the lights were off and it was creepy! I half expected something to pop out and scare me! Not fun!
So I sat down and started doing some work. Just making some edits to the copy that I had written on Wednesday from feedback from Lydia and Shelby. I was nervous for the day because I knew that we had evaluations today!
Shelby and Lydia both gave me a joint evaluation. They told me my strengths and places that have room for improvement! I thought the entire conversation was very beneficial and I'm really excited to improve!
After the evaluation I had myself toast with avo (avocado) to hold me over until our 2:00p.m. lunch farewell party! Then I worked more on the copy and posted it to the website. Then I followed some accounts on Twitter and did some research before we left for the party.
Before we left, Sally handed me the sweetest card ever! Here it is, below!
Photos from the party are scrolling below!
After the train ride home to the station, I got back to the apartment and took out the trash and did some last minute packing. Then I went to bed.
The next morning, Saturday 8 August...the day I leave..I finished packing away my toiletries and pajamas and cleaning the apartment before we left. I was waiting to see "Billy" one last time before I headed off to the airport. He was so great wanting to come see me one last time before I left and before he went to work. Below is a picture I took with him. I blurred out his face, because I still want to maintain his privacy! But I just wanted you all to believe that he's real! :P
Got on the plane and ate three meals and watched heaps of movies. Then got to LAX and tried not to fall asleep and then got on the plane and watched another movie or two and listened to music and then arrived to Atlanta. I was texting my family a play by play about where I was in the airport and they were ready for me! My best friend, Madison, was even at the airport with me! When I saw her I cried and didn't want to let go of her, pictured below.
